Here’s what homeowners need to hear about the changing seasons.

Spring fever has hit my household, and the weather has been fantastic lately. As a native of this area, I can say that this winter has been particularly long, reminiscent of the late seventies and eighties. Hopefully, we’ll break out of the dry cycle we’ve been in and return to normal. This is a great time to get outside and enjoy nature, whether it’s gardening or tackling projects that have been put off.

Take advantage of this time to start on those projects around the house. There are many local nurseries where you can find plants and flowers for your garden, but be aware that spring freezes can still occur in this area until Mother’s Day.

“It makes sense to tackle bigger projects in the spring.”

This is a good time to take on bigger projects such as painting and roofing because we usually don’t have severe weather problems in the next few months. Supplies are also more readily available now, including appliances. If you need help with your projects, contact us for a list of handymen. There are also many stores and farmers’ markets in the area that offer resources and advice on gardening.

Prescott has many things to offer, including the Whiskey Off-Road, a bike race that takes place this weekend. Even if you’re not a bike person, it’s still fun to join in the festivities. Enjoy everything that this beautiful area has to offer.

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to me by phone or email. I look forward to hearing from you!
